Crowns

A crown, (also known as a cap) is used to encase the entire tooth surface when a tooth is needing to be restored to its original size. When the procedure is done by an experienced member of the Tilger staff, the crown will protect and strengthen the natural tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations.

The most common type of crown is used in our office is porcelain (tooth colored) however there are other options for crowns and our experienced team will go over all options to best fit the needs of you and your smile and  ensure the shape, size, and color match your natural teeth, giving you the long-lasting, beautiful smile you deserve. When the procedure is done by our doctors and their team, the crowns are highly durable and give you a bright and beautiful smile for years to come. They may require to be replaced eventually, which can be easily done by scheduling a follow-up visit if needed.

Reasons for crowns:
